Today, my daugther had her first day at the new kindergarten. A Waldorf kindergarten named Soria Moria, in the same building where my sons go to their Waldorf school.
She was so exited! She has been driving with her father, the long way to Nykøbing Sj. for the last month to her old kindergarten, until she could start here today. It takes a little under 3 hours a day, to drive to and from Nykøbing, so we were all looking forward to her beginning at Soria Moria.
The boys have been taking the bus with me for some time now, so its no big deal for them anymore, but for Kamille the adventure today, started already at the bus stop.
My country-kids are not used to taking the bus and train, cause the distance between the places we go in the countryside and the fact that the bus only leaves every hour (at the most!), makes the car the better option. But in here, where the public transit is so easy accessed, theres really no exuse not to use it.
So today, while I was sitting in the room knitting, my daugther played with all the new toys.
She joined the adults and the children for their circle games and song and had a great day!
At lunchtime she was so tired and she nearly fell asleep in my arms in the bus home.
Welcome to your new kindergarten, my love. And happy napping ;).
P.s. Irriterende, at jeg er begyndt at skrive på engelsk? Så giv mig lige en note under kommentarerne :).
